A magnitude 5.1 aftershock occurred Monday morning 26 miles SSE of Mexicali, following last Friday's 5.4 event. A 5.0 event was recorded nearby on Monday evening. So far, about 260 aftershocks have been recorded in the area. The 5.1 event is reported to have done some damage in Mexico.
The Yuma Sun reports that shaking was felt in the area from both aftershocks.
