Retired UA professor tracking New Zealand fault hazards

New Zealand's Marlborough Express carries a story about UA geosciences professor emeritus Bill Bull [right: credit Univ. AZ] who splits his time between Tucson and Kaikoura, NZ. Bill is an expert on the famous Hope fault which is described as part of one of the world's most active fault zones, comparable to the rate of movement on the San Andreas fault. It threatens Wellington and other cities with major earthquakes.
