Lake Powell drained 13 ft to fill Lake Mead 10 ft

Water managers have released enough water from Lake Powell since November to drop its level by 13 feet, with the water going to Lake Mead, raising its level by 10 feet. Watch the report by Salt Lake City environmental reporter John Hollenhorst. John says the release is part of a 7 state agreement to bring Lake Mead up to 1,105 ft by this spring, when Lake Powell is receiving snow pack runoff.
