Reports are circulating that Tempe-based First Solar plans on building its second U.S. solar panel manufacturing plant in Mesa. Any announcement is not expected until after the company reports 4th quarter results next Thursday. The Casa Grande Dispatch says First Solar has been looking around the country for a site for a plant to manufacture 238 MW of panels a year.
