Wired Magazine has compiled a set of 10 time lapse videos of natural phenomena around the world, using NASA satellite images, including Lake Powell along the Colorado River. According to the caption, "from 2000 to 2005 its water level dropped from 20 million to 8 million acre-feet, due to severe drought. Water levels have rebounded a bit, but are expected to plummet to levels even lower than those of 2005 during the next serious drought."
